Binge watching Gentefied on Netflix made me crave tacos! Got my fix @tacos1986la @westwoodvillage with some hongos tacos. Their hongos taco was named one of the best dishes in LA by the LA Times and is probably the cheapest dish on the list at a mere $3.25, which includes guacamole! Anyone else watching Gentefied? I went to @mitsuwa_marketplace to get some ramen @ramensantoukausmawa and was surprised to see that Japan’s takoyaki specialist @gindaco_usa had just opened. Had to get an order of takoyaki - eight for $6.50 (swipe to see). I’m glad I did. Checked out the newly opened @themylaikitchen in Mar Vista, a modern Vietnamese kitchen. Built a bowl ($13) with grilled chicken, garlic rice salad, pickled veggies, cucumber sunomono, pickled cabbage, crispy garlic, sesame seeds and crushed peanuts. They also have Impossible Pork for an extra $4, which had a sausage/ground beef kebab like texture. Ingredients were fresh and tasted healthy! The ir garlic rice is a must!
