Welcome to chowyum, a blog about a foodie’s attempt to have dining adventures with a pesco-vegetarian and picky kid!

Chowyum was originally conceived as an attempt to encourage my daughter to try new restaurants. The idea was to have her cowrite the blog from a kid’s perspective. It soon became evident when we were writing our first post that she had no interest in writing about food whatsoever.  Now it just serves as a creative outlet and allows me to obsess over food a little more.
