Have you ever tried French tacos? Thanks to French Way in Westwood, you can try their FrenchFolds, their version of French tacos, with your choice of meat, cheese sauce and fries, wrapped in a tortilla and grilled in a panini press, served with sauces on the side.
As I took my first bite, my first thought was, “Whoa, this is amazing.” That was quickly followed by, “This would be the perfect food to eat while drinking!” I ordered a medium with chicken ($9.95). It was the perfect size for me (and I have a large appetite). While it’s more like a burrito than a taco, it didn’t have much filler (like rice and beans) and was primarily big chunks of chicken in a cheese sauce, with a sprinkling of fries.
My husband got his with Impossible Meat, which cost an additional $1 (a bargain for an Impossible substitution). They had spiced the meat, making it more flavorful.
They also have salads, but you’ll want to order the FrenchFold and experience the burrito-kebab-panini hybrid popular with the young French population (unless you can’t do gluten or are trying to eat healthy). It’s definitely not healthy, but it’s delicious.
