Bread Head – Beverly Hills

Bread Head is the creation of two former Trois Mec chefs, Alex Williams and Jordan Snyder. Focaccia is baked fresh every day and then topped with quality ingredients. They roast the beef for their roast beef sandwich, and add stracchino, arugula, horseradish and garlic aioli. Every bite of horseradish cleared my sinuses! The garlic aioli is delicious AF and irresistible when paired on that bread.

The Muffaletta has salami cotto, mortadella, ham, provolone, swiss and olive salad. It’s a little salty from the olives, but I balanced it out with some of the alfalfa sprouts from my husband’s Mozzarella sando, which made it just perfect.

You can either buy half ($8) or a full sandwich ($14). Half a sandwich might satisfy a mere mortal, especially if paired with a side, but those with bigger appetites, like me, need two. I highly recommend buying two halfs, so you can sample more flavors.

Save room for dessert – they have dark chocolate coffee cookies, $3 for three! I don’t know what kind of chocolate they use, but it’s far better than the one I use to make a similar cookie. It truly makes a difference, resulting in a richer taste.

Sadly, they’ve already completed their run at Otra Dia and are moving onto their next location. I will be anxiously checking their Instagram feed to see where they pop-up next.
