Bacio di Latte – Century City

My first visit to Bacio di Latte instantly filled me with regret. Not because it wasn’t good – it was amazing. I suddenly realized that I’ve been missing out by not going here sooner and partaking in their glorious gelato.

Bacio di Latte, a Brazilian chain devoted to creating Italian gelato, opened their flagship US store in the Westfield Century City. Upon hearing stories about tiny cups of gelato for $5, I had steered clear of setting foot inside. What a mistake.

Once you enter Bacio di Latte, you’ll be welcomed by an intoxicating vanilla-scented aroma. If you get one of their freshly baked waffle cones (no doubt the source of that aroma), you can only select one flavor. However, if you order a cup, you can choose up to three different flavors.

Narrowing down your choices down to three, let alone one, is tough. Luckily, the staff is super friendly and will happily let you sample the flavors.

If you like chocolate, the Belgian chocolate and the 70% chocolate gelato are a must. The gelato is so rich and creamy and packed with chocolate that they are definitely a chocolate lover’s dream.

Bacio di Latte even has vegan gelato, including a soy milk banana cinnamon flavor that was so good that I chose it as one of my selections.

You can’t go wrong at Bacio di Latte. Every flavor is a winner. So, what are you waiting for? Head over to Bacio di Latte and treat yourself. You’ll be a winner, too.
