Restaurants may have reopened in LA for dining in, but I’m sticking with takeout for now! Picked up lunch at a local gas station mini mart, which either means that it must have really good Indian food or it’s a sad indication of what my life is now. Love the frankies @bombayfrankiela - eapecially the aloo gobhi (cauliflower and sweet potato), with chickpea spread, jeers potatoes, cucumbers, tomatoes, mint chutney, tamarind drizzle and raita, wrapped in naan like a burrito. I’m now stuffed and feeling like a burrito, or should I say a frankie, myself. Bombay Frankie is open for takeout and delivery. Eating at the counter inside the mini mart is not permitted at this time. Anybody in LA dining in? Finally made my first banana bread during the quarantine! Used the recipe I saw in the @latimesfood for banana bread with peanut crumble but only put the crumble on one side since my daughter doesn’t like nuts. The peanut crumble gives it a nice salty sweet crunch (swipe to see).
